Being the Top Indian Student of AJC

...for Vairavan Nachammai of 05/08, and achieving 6-distinctions for the 2009 'A' Level Examinations represent the fulfilment of the unspoken promise to her Secondary Four teacher who inspired her to work hard to get to one of the best universities.

Promise Fulfilled (by TanYongHao, 03/09)
In her two years of striving for academic excellence in Anderson Junior College, she has not neglected her own holistic development. She was a member of Project Eureka, and being a H2 Tamil Literature student, she took part in the various activities of TLDDS as well. She was also in the Alpha programme, taking part in a wide variety of activities that included leadership workshops, competitions and community involvement projects. She eagerly anticipates the future and has set her sights on Chemical Engineering. At the same time, she looks back to her days in Anderson Junior College and wants her juniors to know : It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get back up. never give up and fight till the end!
