Part 2. Revelation Series Home Bible Study : The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Read book of Leviticus 16, verses 1 to 22:

Leviticus 16:1–22 details the Day of Atonement rituals instituted after the death of Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, for approaching God improperly.  Verses 1–2 warn that Aaron must not enter the Holy Place at will, as God appears in a cloud above the mercy seat.

Verses 3–10 prescribe that Aaron enter wearing simple linen garments and bring a bull for his own sin offering and two goats for the people.  Lots are cast to designate one goat “for the LORD” and the other “for Azazel” (the scapegoat).

Verses 11–19 describe the purification of the sanctuary: Aaron slaughters the bull and the Lord’s goat, takes their blood inside the veil, and sprinkles it seven times on and before the mercy seat to cleanse the tabernacle and altar from Israel’s impurities.

Verses 20–22 conclude with the scapegoat ritual: Aaron lays both hands on the live goat, confesses all Israel’s sins, and sends it into the wilderness to bear the nation’s iniquities to an uninhabited land.

After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. - Genesis 3:24

Genesis 3:24 describes the final act of God expelling Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden to prevent them from accessing the tree of life after their sin.  God drove out the man and stationed cherubim (angelic beings) on the east side of the garden alongside a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the path.  This action signifies the permanent separation of humanity from direct access to eternal life and God's presence in that location.

Ezekiel 10:14 Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

Ezekiel 10:15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.

Gospel of Mark (lion anointing)

Gospel of Luke (calf anointing)

Gospel of Matthew ( man anointing; face of Man)

Gospel of John ( eagle anointing)

Revelation 4:7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.

We are still on the four beasts of Revelation chapters 4,5,6

Rev. 4:6-8 5:6-8, 11 Chapter 6:1, 3, 5,78 Then we see these four no more.

GENESIS 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. Verse 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
