Let us build a community that starts each morning in spiritual abundance, not lack.

Read the holy Bible and pray everyday, if we want to grow healthy, wealthy and prosper in Christ Body's first.

Here we meditate on the letter to the Ephesians, from apostle Paul.

Every morning is a picture of God's goodness.

The sun rises without asking for your permission.

The air fills your lungs before you even open your eyes.

And while your mind is still waking up, heaven is already singing over you.

That is the kind of blessing that does not come from effort.

It comes from covenant.

You did not earn the sunrise.

You did not negotiate for your breath.

You did not work for mercy today.

It was given because you belong to the Giver.

And just like that sunrise, there are blessings that are already in motion.

Blessings you did not have to chase because they're already yours in Christ.

Let me ask you something personal.

Are you living your day as someone who is already been blessed in Christ or someone still striving to earn God's approval?

Meditate on the letter to the Ephesians, from apostle Paul.

... and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 1:3 breaks open a powerful spiritual truth.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus .

Not will bless, not might bless if you behave.

He has blessed, past tense.

It is done.

But where?

 In the heavenly realms.

That means your true inheritance is not bound by this world's circumstances.

It is not delayed by traffic, inflation, people's opinions, or your own performance.

Your identity is not someone trying to be blessed.

Your identity is someone who already is blessed because of who Christ is and what he has done.

In the old covenant, blessings were physical. land, crops, protection from enemies, health and success, all conditional on strict obedience to the law. Deuteronomy 28. ( Scroll down to read all the 68 verses)

But in the new covenant, the focus shifts to spiritual blessings, things that go beyond what your hands can touch and enter what your soul truly needs.

Peace, joy, grace, security, purpose, identity, access to the Father, adoption into God's family, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

These are the kinds of blessings no one can steal.

These are the kinds of blessings that do not expire, do not fade, and do not depend on how good you were yesterday.

They are secured in Christ and Christ is unshakable.

Here and now.

Let us go deeper.

Ephesians 1:4 says, "He chose us in him before the foundation of the world."

This means your existence is not random.

You were not an accident of biology or a coincidence of timing.

Before the first sunrise, before the oceans were drawn, before Adam breathed, God saw you.

And in His eternal love, he made a choice, a divine election.

He chose to place you in Christ.

Not based on merit, not based on future behavior, not based on personality, but based purely on His Love.

You are not trying to become someone worthy of blessing.

You are the evidence of God's plan already at work.

And this choice was not cold or calculated.

It was affectionate.

Verse 5 continues. "He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ in accordance with his pleasure and will."

Do you see that?

Adoption.

You are not just a forgiven sinner crawling around in shame.

You are a son.

You are a daughter.

We are His children through Christ.

God did not just pardon you.

He claimed you.

He brought you into his home, gave you His name, and said,"Call me Father."

This is why Romans 8:15 says, "We cry out, Abba, Father."

You do not have to beg.

You do not have to perform.

You already belong.

And how did this happen?

Not through your efforts.

Not through being religious enough, but through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:7 says, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

The price has been paid.

The shame has been removed.

The stain has been washed.

You are no longer trying to clean yourself up for God.

He washed you himself.

4:42 And he didn't use barely enough grace. He used riches of grace.

4:48 That means there's more than enough for yesterday's regrets, today's mistakes, and tomorrow's weakness.

4:55 You are not a liability to the kingdom.

4:57 You are the reason Jesus came. But God didn't stop there. After forgiving you,

5:04 he sealed you. Ephesians 1:13 says,

5:08 "When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.

This seal is a divine signature that says mine.

You are God's.

The Holy Spirit is not just a comforter.

He is a guarantee of what is to come.

When you feel His peace, that is a preview of your eternal inheritance.

When you feel conviction, that is proof you are alive in Christ.

When you worship and feel His presence, that is heaven's down payment in your spirit.

You are not spiritually homeless.

You are housed in grace.

Even more, God invites you into His wisdom and will.

Ephesians 1:9 says, "He made known to us the mystery of His will.

He did not just save you to keep you guessing.

He shares His heart with you.

He speaks.

He leads.

He reveals.

He brings clarity in chaos and purpose in confusion.

You are not just a servant.

You are a friend of God.

John 15:15, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."

You have access.

You have insight.

You are not walking blindly.

You're being led by the very Spirit who hovered over the waters at creation.

So what does all of this mean for you morning?

It means you can start your day with full assurance that you are already blessed.

Not because of what the day holds, but because of who holds you.

Whether the to-do list is long or the emotions feel   low.

Whether you wake up to good news or no news at all, the truth does not change.

You are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

And those blessings are eternal.

They are not stored in a bank.

They are stored in heaven's account.

And Christ gave you the access code through his blood.

So today, when the lies come, you're behind. You're not enough. You need to work harder to be blessed.

Answer them with the truth of Ephesians 1:3.

Say it out loud. I am already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

I do not start empty. I start full.

I do not beg. I belong.

Now, let us take this truth and do something powerful  with it.

Let us pray together.

Do not let this just be another message you scroll past.

Do not let this truth sit in your mind without entering your spirit.

God is calling you to start your day aware, awake, and aligned.

Because today was never meant to be walked in striving.

It was meant to be walked in the security of grace.

So, wherever you are, pause with me now.

Take a breath, open your heart and hands, and let's pray.

🙏🏽 🙏🏽

Heavenly Father, I begin this morning not by asking but by thanking you.

Thank you that before l even opened my eyes today, I was already covered by blessings that cannot be shaken.

Blessings that are not based on the weather, my mood, or my performance, but rooted in Christ himself.

You have blessed me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, and I choose to step into that truth right now.

I may not always feel it, but I speak it in faith.

I am not starting this day empty.

I am not starting this day behind.

I am not starting this day lacking.

In Christ, I begin full, full of peace, full of purpose, full of grace, full of mercy, and full of access to you.

You have already made a way for me to be close to you.

You have already opened the door to identity, healing, and hope.

Thank you for the unseen blessings, the ones I often overlook.

Thank you for the presence of your Holy Spirit that walks with me and reminds me I am not alone.

Thank you for the protection I did not even notice.

Thank you for joy that rises not from outcomes, but from belonging.

Thank you for choosing me, redeeming me, calling  me, sealing me.

Thank you for all the blessings I cannot name, but my spirit still receives.

I receive them now.

I declare them as mine in Christ today.

I do not beg for favor. I stand in it.

I do not strive for closeness. I enjoy it.

I do not chase after peace. I walk in the peace that is already mine through Jesus Christ.

Father, awaken me today to the truth that I was chosen before the world was made.

Let this not be just a verse I hear in church.

Let it be the foundation of how I walk, how I think, how I speak.

I was not an accident.

I was not forgotten.

I am not just a face in the crowd.

You saw me before time began.

You knew my name before I ever cried for help.

You formed my spirit with intention, with love, with destiny.

I am chosen.

I am wanted.

I am pursued.

Let this truth go deeper than the wounds of rejection.

Let it echo louder than the lies that say I am forgotten or replaceable.

Today I live as someone chosen.

I respond like someone deeply loved.

I think with the confidence of someone held by eternal hands.

Even if people reject me. You have accepted me.

Even if opportunities pass by, you have never passed me over.

You have engraved my name in your heart, not just in a moment of emotion, but in the council of eternity.

I was in your thoughts before the stars.

So help me walk today in that holy confidence.

Help me say yes to things you have called me to.

Not because I feel worthy in myself, but because l am loved by you.

Lord, I live in a world that screams louder each day. "Do more." "Have more." "Prove more."

But you whisper something different. "You are already complete in Christ."

Today I ask you to renew my mind.

Cleanse me from the constant pressure to meet worldly standards.

I do not want to measure my life by what I drive, where I live, how many likes I get, or how impressive I seem.

I want to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, so I can see clearly what you see in me and what you have planned for me.

Let me not chase vain social status when I already have sonship through Christ.

Let me not chase temporary wealth when I already carry eternal riches in Christ.

Let me not seek validation from people when l already have affirmation from heaven.

Break every thought pattern that compares with others, that envies, that fears missing out.

Tear down every stronghold in my thinking that says " I have to perform to be loved or hustle to be seen."

Father, rewire my thoughts with your Word.

Teach me to set my mind on things above, of heaven, not set the mind on the shallow shifting sands of this world.

Remind me that I am seated in heavenly places with Christ.

And my truest success is not what I build, but who I become in you.

Give me eyes to recognize what truly matters today.

Help me prioritize presence over performance,   peace over productivity, and purpose over popularity.

Abba Father, thank you that you did not just forgive me and leave me to wander.

You adopted me.

You brought me into your family.

You said, "This one is mine."

And now, because of Christ, I can call you "Father". Not from a distance, but in closeness, not as a stranger, but as your child.

I ask for more of that intimacy today.

I want to walk with you, not just work for you.

I want to talk to you, like now, not just talk about you.

I want to feel the warmth of your nearness, the whisper of your spirit, the joy of just being with you.

Father, draw me into your presence in deeper ways.

Remove anything in my heart that still sees you as far away or harsh or uninterested.

Remind me that you are my good Father. All the time.

That you know how to give good gifts.

That you delight in me even when I have not accomplished anything.

That you love me not for what I do but simply   because I am yours.

Restore to me the joy of sonship.

Let it be enough today that I am your child.

Let it be the source of my peace, my confidence, and my identity.

I do not need to impress you. You already love me.

I do not need to convince you. You've already chosen me.

I just want to be close to you. I want to know your heart, hear your voice, and walk in the comfort of your embrace.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for you blood that speaks a better word than shame.

Thank you that my past does not have the final say.

 Your cross does.

I come to you this morning with the weight of last year's failures, regrets, and mistakes.

The things I wish I could undo.

The words I wish I had never spoken.

The decisions I wish I could take back.

And yet you look at me with compassion, not condemnation.

You say, "It is finished." So I receive your forgiveness, not partially, not cautiously, but fully.

Wash over me again with the richness of your grace.

Let guilt lose its grip.

Let shame be silenced.

Let self-condemnation be replaced with joyful repentance.

You did not die so I could stay in hiding.

You died so I could live in your freedom and liberty.

And so I choose to walk forward without chains.

I choose to drop the labels that no longer define me. Too much, too late, not enough. Unworthy.

Now, I am cleansed.

I am redeemed.

I am made new.

Let your mercy go deeper than my memory.

Let your love go deeper than my self-judgment.

And help me extend to myself the same grace you extend to me so I can live this year unburdened, unhindered, and fully alive in your love.

Father, I thank you that you have not left me without a sign of your promise.

You have sealed me with your Holy Spirit, not as a temporary comfort, but as a permanent mark of belonging.

I am yours, and the seal of the Spirit proves it.

I do not belong to fear.

I do not belong to the voices of shame.

I do not belong to the world's systems of value.

I belong to you.

Today, Lord, I ask for the grace to walk like someone who is sealed.

Not like someone who is unsure of their place.

Not like someone wandering without direction.

Not like someone hoping to be loved.

But like someone who is already marked, already claimed, already called.

Let my steps carry the weight of heaven's authority.

Let my decisions reflect the whisper of the Spirit

Let my reactions be shaped not by insecurity but by the Spirit.

Let my reactions be shaped not by insecurity but by the inner assurance that I am not my own.

I was bought with a price.

Teach me to recognize that seal in everyday life.

Remind me when I feel lost that I am still sealed.

Remind me when temptation comes that I am set apart.

Remind me when I feel overlooked that I am chosen and sealed by the Spirit of the living God.

I do not have to strive to prove my worth.

I carry the evidence of your love within me.

Let this truth shape how I pray, how I work, how I speak, how I love.

I am sealed.

I am marked.

I am not for sale to the opinions of man or the lies of the enemy.

I am not who the past says I am.

I am who the Spirit declares, I am yours.

Abba, as I step into this new year, I do not want to walk blindly or make decisions based on fear, pressure, or ambition.

I want to be aligned with your will.

Not just generally, but specifically.

Reveal to me, oh Lord, what is on your heart for 2026.

I do not want to chase dreams you did not plant.

I do not want to waste time climbing ladders that are leaning on the wrong wall.

I want to walk in step with the spirit.

I want to live inside the rhythm of your design for me.

Your word says you made known to us the mystery of your will according to your good pleasure and I believe you are still speaking today.

Open my eyes to divine direction.

Unblock my ears to hear your voice more clearly.

Calm the noise in my heart so I can recognize the subtle nudges of the Spirit.

Whether it is a change in direction, a confirmation to stay, or a new assignment, I welcome your will.

Even if it is different than l expected, even if it stretches me, even if it disrupts my plans, I trust that your will is rooted in love, saturated in goodness, and shaped for my growth and your glory.

Father, show me what to say yes to.

Show me what to release.

Show me who to walk with and who to bless from a distance.

Show me what to build and what to let die.

Do not let me settle for human logic when you are offering heavenly wisdom.

Let this 2026 be a year of walking in sync with you.

Not ahead, not behind, just with you.

Reveal it, Lord, piece by piece, day by day.

And teach me to delight in each unfolding page of your will for my life.

Father, I declare today that I will not be a slave to my emotions, nor a puppet of my circumstances.

I choose to live from identity, not instability.

I am who you say I am, even when I do not feel like it.

I am victorious even when life feels chaotic.

I am chosen even when I feel overlooked.

I am loved even when I feel unlovable.

And I will live from that identity, not just in theory, but in practice.

Teach me to anchor my choices in your truth, not in the emotional weather of the day.

When discouragement knocks, remind me that I am seated in heavenly places.

When stress creeps in, remind me that I have the mind of Christ.

When loneliness whispers lies, remind me that you dwell in me and never leave.

I do not want to react based on moods that pass.

I want to respond based on truth that lasts.

Help me bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Help me pause before I spiral down.

Help me speak life when I am tempted to vent defeat.

Help me see interruptions as divine invitations.

I commit to walk in dignity even when I am treated unfairly.

I commit to respond in love even when I am misunderstood.

I commit to think with faith even when the reports are not good.

Why? Because my identity is not built on circumstances.

It is built on the unshakable Word of God.

And that identity does not just survive in hard times. It shines.

So when this world tries to push me into anxiety, fear, or emotional reactivity, I will return to my Source.

I am not led by how I feel.

I am led by who I am in Christ.

Lord, I do not just want to hear about spiritual blessings.

I want to recognize them.

I want to see them woven into every part of my life.

Help me see them not only in church services or quiet times, but in my daily routines, in conversations, in challenges, in opportunities.

I know that you have already blessed me with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

But open my eyes to recognize what you've already placed in my path.

Help me see your provision in the middle of financial lack.

Help me see your grace in the middle of relational tension.

Help me see your healing power in the process, not just the outcome.

I want to recognize the blessing of being able to pray freely.

The blessing of waking up with breath in my lungs.

The blessing of forgiveness that resets me each day.

The blessing of purpose even when progress feels slow.

The blessing of your Spirit reminding me who I am in Christ.

Show me the blessing in the waiting.

Show me the blessing in the stretching.

Show me the blessing in the seemingly small things.

I do not want to live spiritually rich but mentally poor, blind to the goodness you are constantly pouring out.

Train my eyes to see from heaven's perspective.

Train my heart to rejoice over the unseen miracles.

Let me trace Your fingerprints across my family, my finances, my friendships, my work, my body, my thoughts.

May every area of my life reflect your light, not because it is perfect, but because you are present.

Help me notice it, celebrate it, and testify about it.

Make me someone who lives in constant awareness of divine activity.

Because once I start to see it, I wiIl never go back to ordinary again.

Father God, this morning I release every trace of complaint, comparison, or discontent from my lips and lay them at your feet.

I choose gratitude.

I choose praise.

I choose to magnify your blessings instead of my burdens.

Too often I focused on what I don't have, what hasn't happened, or what someone else seems to be experiencing.

But not today.

Today. I open my eyes to the abundance I already walk in because of Christ.

I thank you for the blessings I have ignored.

I thank you for the daily mercies I have overlooked.

I thank you for the breath in my lungs, the stillness of your peace, the ability to pray, the covering of your grace, and the security of your eternal love.

My life now is filled with spiritual riches, not because everything is perfect, but because your presence defines my reality.

Teach me to speak from fullness, not frustration.

Remind me that gratitude is a gateway to joy.

Help me cultivate a lifestyle of praise that rises above envy, fear, or complaint.

And now, Lord, I lift up every soul who has not yet discovered the spiritual blessings you have prepared in Christ.

I intercede for those still searching for purpose, still living under shame, still feeling distant from love.

Would you open their eyes just as you've opened mine?

Would you awaken their hearts to see the inheritance that is already available through Jesus Christ?

I pray for those who feel empty today.

May they encounter the fullness of your grace.

I pray for those trapped in performance or religion.

May they be set free by revelation of your love.

Let them experience the reality of relationship with you each moment of their lives .

I pray for those hardened by disappointment.

May they taste your mercy in you.

And I pray for those who feel invisible.

May they know they are chosen.

Let this prayer be a ripple that reaches them even if I never know it.

Let today mark a turning point where blind eyes begin to see and dry hearts begin to thirst for your truth.

And now, Father, I declare this over my day with joy and boldness.

I step into this day as someone who has already been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

I walk in victory. I walk in love.

I walk in peace. I walk in purpose. I walk as a sealed, redeemed, chosen,  forgiven child of God.

And nothing today can undo what you have done.

I align my heart, my thoughts, my conversations,   and my decisions with the reality of heaven's inheritance over my life.

I refuse to shrink back, complain, or compare.

I rise in gratitude,  dignity,  and divine identity.

I carry the light of Christ into every space I enter.

And I choose to live this day as one who is fully alive in you.

I seal this day in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

I seal my mind with truth.

I seal my emotions with peace.

I seal my actions with faith of God.

I seal my conversations with grace.

I seal my family with favor.

seal my body with good health.

I seal my future with hope.

And I seal my spirit with the eternal mark of the Holy Ghost in Jesus' mighty, victorious, resurrection filled, redeeming, restoring, rejoicing name.

 Amen.

Before you go, I want to leave you with one question to carry into your morning.

Which of the blessings in Ephesians 1:3-4 spoke most deeply to your heart today?

¹ Was it the truth that you are chosen before the foundation of the world?

² Was it the joy of being adopted as God's beloved child?

³ Or maybe it was the comfort of knowing you are redeemed, forgiven, and sealed with the Holy Spirit forever?

Whatever it was, let it settle into your spirit.

Let it become your anchor today.

Comment below with the verse or phrase from Ephesians 1 that touched you the most.

Let us continuing with Lord Jesus Christ to build a community that starts each morning in spiritual abundance, not lack.

If this prayer realigned your heart, feel free to share it with someone who needs to remember they are already blessed.

Thank you for staying with me all the way through this heartfelt prayer. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for honoring God with your time, with your faith, and your hunger for truth.

Pray to see you again tomorrow morning right here to begin a new day together in Christ. Amen.

Deuteronomy 28

(King James Version)

28 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.

10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.

11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.

18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

20 The Lord shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

21 The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

22 The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

24 The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

25 The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

26 And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.

27 The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

28 The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.

32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.

33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:

34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

35 The Lord shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.

36 The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the Lord shall lead thee.

38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.

39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.

40 Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.

42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.

43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

49 The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:

51 And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.

52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.

53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:

55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

57 And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, The Lord Thy God;

59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God.

63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
