² THE BIBLE ; GOD'S WORD

GOD'S SON 

Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name? Surely you know! ~ Proverbs 30:4 

MANKIND 

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. ~ Genesis 1:27 

 

Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. ~ Joshua 22:5 

YOUR SIN 

But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. ~ Isaiah 59:2 

For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. ~ Romans 3:22, 23 

So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. ~ James 4:17 

DEATH 

Physical 

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment. ~ Hebrews 9:27 

Spiritual 

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and allliars. their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. which is the second death. ~ Revelation 21:8 

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. ~ Ezekiel 18:20 A8 

THE JUDGMENT 

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. ~ Revelation 20:12 

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. ~ John 5:24 

GOD'S LOVE 

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. ~ John 3:16 

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ~ Romans 5:8 

CHRIST

 His birth 

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. ~ Matthew 1:21 

And the angel said to them,"Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." ~ Luke 2:10, 11 

His person 

For I have come down from heaven...I and the Father are one...Whoever has seen me has seen the Father...I came from the Father...I am leaving the world and going to the Father...I will come again ana wii take you to myself. 

John 6:38,10:30; 14:9; 16:28; 14:3 

His purpose 

I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. ~ John 10:10

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit. ~ 1 Peter 3:18

His resurrection 

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead,the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:20, 21 

His return 

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. ~ John 14:3 

Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. ~ Matthew 24:30 

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound ofthe trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:16 

THE HOLY SPIRIT

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. ~ John 14:16-18

REPENTANCE 

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. ~ Acts 3:19 

SALVATION 

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ~ Romans 10:9 

FAITH 

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. ~ Romans 10:17 

THE DEVIL 

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. ~1 Peter 5:8, 9 

TEMPTATION 

Let no one say when he is tempted,"I am being tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. ~ James 1:13-16 

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. Good is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. ~ 1 Corinthians 10:13 

CONFESSION 

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ~ 1 John 1:9 

LIFE 

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. ~ 1 John 5:12 

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. ~ John 10:10 

PRAYER 

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. ~ Matthew 6:6,7 

WISDOM 

For wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. ~ Proverbs 8:11 

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.  ~ James 1:5 

HEAVEN 

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." ~ Revelation 21:4, 5 

HELL 

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. Therich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for Iam in anguish in this flame." ~ Luke 16:22-24  

ETERNAL LIFE 

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. ~ 1 John 5:11-13 

ASSURANCE 

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one wil1 snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. ~ John 10:28, 29 

ENEMIES 

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. ~ Luke 6:27, 28 

There is a verse in the Bible which has been translated into more than 1100 languages. It tells of One who loved us with an everlasting love. The verse is here recorded in many languages of the world, which are understood by more than three-quarters of the earth's population. 

The verse is John 3:16.
