A business must have the potential to grow fast by adding additional
streams of income. I must be able to sell additional products and
services to existing customers, as opposed to being a one-time sale
business. I simply will not get into a business if there isn’t a potential for
big, back-end profits.
And ideally, you can scale a business using systems, technology,
and outside vendors versus just hiring more employees.This way,
not only is it easier to grow fast, but you can scale back down if sales
revenue drops for a period. Otherwise, you’ll be like those corporations
that, when sales are slow, have to fire a bunch of people to scale down.
