Do you jump out of bed each morning raring to go? Do you often feel excited about the day ahead? What about inspired and full of ideas? Answer no to any of these questions and some will say you’re in the wrong job, or you haven’t yet found your true calling. But even if you’re doing what you love, it’s easy to get sucked into a spiral of doing more and more of the less essential things.
Pausing to take stock and reprioritize the vital elements of your life can create a more balanced way to live and have a positive effect on overall well-being. Repriortizing will mean different things for different people, but for most, it’s about focussing on the biggest joys in life and making changes to bring them to the fore.
Using a journal can help. Think of that as your chance to step back, make time for your thoughts, feelings, and physical self, and discover what’s really important. What makes you happy? What do you love to do more than anything? What makes you feel relaxed, physically and mentally? It’s time to shift the balance and find your equilibrium.
Its not always easy to maintain a balanced life. Each person has a unique path to follow when it comes to leading a balanced life. The tricky part is figuring out yours.
Find your balance…
