Singapore health Minister Khaw Boon Wan says

of his attitude towards heart problem:
I was stubborn, don't be like me

For nearly six weeks, Singapore Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan suffered from something that could have killed him - denial.

Mr Khaw, who underwent a successful coronary artery bypass graft(open heart surgery)on May 4 2010, confessed that his initial refusal to accept that there was something wrong with his heart was "sheer stupidity and madness".

His denial lasted six weeks.
Mr Khaw described some of his delay tactics he used on his blog yesterday.
