The 'Revelation' is to Jesus from God.

 Jesus sends an "angel to tell apostle John. 

Strong's Concordance # 32 Aggelos (ang 'el os) (179) Messenger (7) a messenger envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God 

·19:10 John attempts worship"..I am thy fellow servant.. have the testimony of Jesus: "worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." 

21:17 "... the measure of a man, that is of the angel."

22:8 'I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 

22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

'Christ types' all took Gentile wives: 

Joseph, rejected by his brethren, takes an Egyptian wife.

 Moses, rejected by his brethren, takes a Midianite wife.

 Boaz ,as kinsman redeemer to Naomi (a Jewess) gets Ruth, a Moabite as wife.

Revelation 1:4 "... from him which is, and which was, and which is to come 

Is = Priest ; Lamb 

Was = Prophet ; Eagle

Is to come = King ; Lion 

"... the seven spirits - before his throne." 

The illumination of Christ in the seven churches, like a great rainbow - 🌈

Aramaic Bible in Plain English “And to The Messenger who is in the assembly of Sardis write: Thus says he who has The Seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works and the name that you have, and that you are alive and are dying.”

(Revelation 4:5) New King James Version And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

(Revelation 5:6) Amplified Bible And there between the throne (with the four living creatures) and among the elders I saw a Lamb (Christ) standing, [bearing scars and wounds] as though it had been slain, with seven horns (complete power) and with seven eyes (complete knowledge), which are the seven Spirits of God who have been sent [on duty] into all the earth.

I JOHN 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Amplified Bible (I JOHN 1:5)

This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection].

(I JOHN 1:6) If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth; (I JOHN 1:7) but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].

Interesting Natural / Spiritual Comparison 

Three types of light: 

Actinic -  Neither seen nor felt  =  Father 

Lumeniferous - Both seen and felt  = Son 

Calorific - Felt but not seen = Holy Ghost

A single beam of blue-white light passed 

through a prism ⬖ ⬗ breaks into a 7 color rainbow  🌈

God, who is Light, passed Himself through the three sided prism of Father, Son and Holy Ghost, breaking into the 7 Spirits of God by which He anointed seven church age messengers.

When we consider that, 'God is Light..."

From Long Wavelength, Low Frequency, Low Energy,  to Short Wavelength, High Frequency, High Energy . 

Light waves also come in many frequencies. The frequency is the number of waves that pass a point in space during any time interval, usually one second. It is measured in units of cycles (waves) per second, or Hertz (Hz). The frequency of visible light is referred to as color, and ranges from 430 trillion Hz, seen as red, to 750 trillion Hz, seen as violet. Again, the full range of frequencies extends beyond the visible spectrum, from less than one billion Hz, as in radio waves, to greater than 3 billion billion Hz, as in gamma rays.

Light waves, as fields of energy 

The amount of energy in a light wave is proportionally related to its frequency: 

High frequency light has high energy; 

low frequency light has low energy.

REVELATION 1:5.. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 

ACTS 9:37... that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed , they laid [her] in an upper chamber.
