Humility says .....Pride says..... God says.....

My dear friend, let me ask you something this morning. Are you quietly leaning on your own strength without even realizing it?

Sometimes pride doesn't look like boasting. It looks like carrying every burden by yourself. It looks like waking up and trying to fix everything, trying to control everyone, trying to figure out every detail without ever kneeling in prayer.

Pride whispers, "You can handle this on your own." But humility kneels before God and says, "Lord, I cannot take another step without you. Are you willing to bow low and learn, or do you still secretly believe you already know enough?

Pride says, "I've got this. I don't need help."

Humility says, "Father, teach me. Lead me. Show me what I cannot see." The truth is, no matter how many books you've read, how much success you've achieved, or how many years you've lived, without God's wisdom, you are blind.

But when you humble yourself, he floods your life with light, with guidance, with direction that your own reasoning could never achieve. Have you considered whether pride might be blocking the very blessings God longs to give you?

The Bible says God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. That means pride doesn't just sit quietly. It actively pushes away the grace that could have been yours. Every time we insist on doing things our own way, we close a door that God wanted to open.

Every time we refuse to forgive because they don't deserve it, we miss out on the freedom God had prepared for our hearts. Every time we think, "I'm good enough without God." We rob ourselves of the supernatural strength he was ready to provide. But humility, it changes everything. Humility unlocks the windows of heaven. Humility invites the spirit to dwell richly. Humility says, "Lord, I am small but you are great. I am weak but you are strong. I don't know the way but you are the way." And when we take that posture, grace flows, peace flows, provision flows.

Humility isn't about thinking less of yourself. It's about thinking rightly of God. Thinking with God. It's about placing him at the center where he belongs and acknowledging that every good thing in our lives comes from his hand. Think about how this works in real life.

A proud heart will fight every battle alone, but a humble heart says, "Lord, fight this battle for me."

A proud heart tries to force doors open, but a humble heart waits, knowing that God's timing is perfect. A proud heart clings to its own agenda,  but a humble heart lays every plan on the altar and says, "Not my will, but yours be done."

Which one do you think receives heaven's blessing? So, let me challenge you today.

Choose humility in your work. Choose humility. Instead of trying to prove you're the smartest in the room, let your words build others up in your home. Choose humility.

Apologize first. Serve even when no one notices. In your faith, choose humility.

Pray before you act. Ask before you decide. Surrender before you strive.

It may feel small, but humility is the most powerful key you can hold. Because when you bow, God himself will lift you high. Blessing to you.

May today be the day you choose humility over pride, surrender over control, trust over self-reliance. May the grace of God pour into your life like living water, filling every empty place,  healing every wound, and strengthening every weak spot. And may the Lord in his perfect timing lift you up, bless you, and establish you in ways far greater than you could ever imagine.

 Lord, I choose humility today.

Let your own words be a declaration of faith, a reminder that you are walking in God's way.

Pray so we can continue walking together each moment in prayer and reflection.

Share this message with someone you love because maybe the

Fill the voids that may unsettle our hearts. And may we learn the lessons you intend for us to learn.

And Lord God, we look forward to a future with you. We embrace a future that is in your hands. One that is filled with love, mercy, and goodness.

As we reach out in prayer, we put our hopes and our dreams, our plans and relationships in your hands.

With you by our side, there is nothing that can hold us down. Nothing can hold us back.

I pray for the person who is reading this right now.

I pray that all negative feelings are released from their hearts right now. And every feeling of guilt is removed.

God, let all bitterness be destroyed.

Everything that is not from you, I pray that you would remove it.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen.

I want to tell you two important things about demons. Demons listen and demons are aware.
