Why Jesus? The Gospel in One Page

The Gospel message

 The Fact of Sin

Why Jesus? The Gospel in One Page

Romans 3:23:"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

This verse acknowledges that every person is a sinner and has failed to live up to God's perfect standard. This is the first step to realise that you need God.

All accept Jesus. He was perfect and never sinned.

The Consequences of Sin

Separation from God: The ultimate consequence of sin is separation from God, as it breaks our relationship with Him.

Isaiah 59:2:"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."

Romans 6:23:"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Your sin separates you from God in an absolute manner. One tiny lie has the same impact as Murder to God. Sin is rebellion and all fall short. The Qur’an would say that good works balances small sins. That is a lie. All sin separate on the basis of Gods holiness. He is holy in an absolute manner and can not abide a speck of sin.

 Christ as Our Substitute

Jesus Christ took the penalty for our sins: On the cross, Jesus died as a substitute for us, paying the penalty that we deserved for our sin.

1 Peter 2:24:"He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."

Romans 5:8:"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Even though humanity was in rebellion against God, Jesus died for us. This shows the depth of God's love—He sent His Son to die for sinners to provide a way for redemption.

 You must receive Him

You must receive Him: Salvation is not automatic—it requires a personal decision to trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

John 1:12:"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."

Romans 10:9:"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Salvation is available to all who confess Jesus as Lord and truly believe in His resurrection. It is a matter of faith and public declaration.

 The Prayer to accept Jesus

The following Spoken Out Loud

Father in Heaven, I accept you and your son Jesus as my Lord and

I ask for the forgiveness of my sins.

I declare that I believe in my heart that God raises Jesus from the dead.

I reject Islam and Muhammad and break the chains of association to that religion.

I praise you Lord and thank you for saving me today.

Amen.
